Peanut is a hyperactive, annoying, cute purple-skinned "woozle" with white fur covering most of his body, a tuft of green hair on the top of his head, and one sneaker on his left foot. Dunham explains in Arguing with Myself that Peanut is from a small Micronesian island, and that they met in Florida. Peanut's humor is not based on a particular motif or stereotype, as those of the other characters, and has been described as "the bad kid". He often makes fun of Dunham, and torments and mocks José Jalapeño on a Stick (nah, on a steeek!). Touching upon his unusual appearance and personality, he asks Dunham in Arguing with Myself, after Dunham denies ever having done drugs, "Then how the hell did you come up with me?". In Controlled Chaos, Jeff came up with two new puppets to be a sketch with Peanut, "Little Jeff"(Which Peanut named "Little Ugly Ass Jeff") and Little Peanut(a small finger puppet form of Peanut). During the show Jeff claimed he came up with Peanut when he came up with Jose. Peanut is allergic to nuts, dairy, fish, fire liquids, plastic furniture, textbooks, cat nip, execusive oxygen, tissue, meat, fruit, beestings, sugar, and dust. He is also known as "Batnut". According to Walter, Peanut is made from asbestos. His catchphrase is "That's good-itty, that's good, that's GOOOOOD!!!!"
Trivia
- It seems in The Jeff Dunham Show that Peanut has a son, from one of ex-girlfriends.
- When he and Jeff appeared on Xuxa's TV show, he played wit her and also won a kiss of the brazilian's presenter on the end of the show, later she sung 'Our Song of Peace'.
- Even as a joke, he revealed that your mother had quadruplets: Eeeny, meeny, mine and Fred. When Jeff asked what happened with the Moe, he told: ''Oh, she didn't want NO MOE''
- Also, Peanut usually says the word " have sex" meaing that the joke went over someone head. "Hey Rob! NNNEWYM!"
